| Golf Instruction Although not coaching golf full time currently I still keep abreast of all the happenings in the industry of golf instruction. My Golf instruction philosophies are simple: 1. Identify with the golfers current thinking and beliefs 2. Investigate the golfer’s thought patterns through thorough questioning 3. Evaluate the golfers physical capabilities 4. Educate the golfer of the benefits in ‘keeping it simple’ 5. Begin with small foundation moves to correct the larger issues 6. Offer drills as homework for the golfer 7. Clarify the golfer’s lesson for complete understanding Investing much of my time learning many of the 'swing types' in golf, I found none more proven than the Right Sided Swing. I have found the laws of this swing undeniable in all aspects, what can be easier that setting and turning ‘in shape’ by keeping mindful of radius and direction of turn? Too many golfer today have been drilled to think about big shoulder turns, transferring weight and releasing the hands which are all by products of a another aspect of the swing not working correctly, or a match up move. Less is more. Please read on through the Golf Instruction section of my site as I break down the areas of the Right Sided Swing... The Right Sided Swing as seen in the pictures below of tour professional Brad Lamb, is unique in regard to the angles created at setup and the radius of the arms and club from the body. Notice in these pictures that Brad starts in a position that resembles a reverse letter K. In the entirety of the swing the ‘body shape’ does not change, this is a result of correct spine angle and correct direction of turn. |

| From the side view, you may notice the body angle is tilted over the shaft to allow the arms to fall in a rested position and produce the angles in the wrists versus the shaft. During the sequence of the back swing from this view you can notice that the body still has full depth of turn in the lower body and shoulders. At impact, the Right Sided Swing allows the shaft to return to much the same ‘plane’ as it started at setup leading invariable to a straight club face, less side spin and straight flighted shots. | |||
